  Holiday, Lecture: The Christmas Eve Celebration of The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will be featured, interspersed with the singing of carols. The Festival of Nine Lessons originated in 1918 at King's College Chapel at Cambridge University in England. Sponsors include pastors from the local Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Science of Mind, and Growing in Faith Family churches. Each church provides at least one reader while other community members, both young and old, read the nine lessons. Participants are encouraged to arrive early.
